On our own

We were up quite early as Al was going down to Kent again in the afternoon as her mum was going into hospital for a minor operation. We pottered about in the morning, as Al got her stuff ready, and she got to the station for midday. Del then sorted out the brasses and did some cleaning on the outside. In the evening he walked into Daventry and went to a place called Friday's which had Champions league football on Sky on the big screen. After watching Spurs lose, and having a few pints, it was a long walk home in the dark across the fields........
