Pizza's in Kintbury

After a good night's sleep in this quite countryside, we were up and ready to go after some breakfast. We managed to get off the sandbank we had moored on and the crew were walking ahead to set up the first lock. It is very pretty around these parts and it seems to be getting better and better as we go further west. We made it to Kintbury by lunchtime and we got moored again just above the lock here. Bernie and Sarah wanted to treat us to a lunchtime meal for us having them, so rude not to! We walked up into the village and went to The Blue Bull where we can recommend their Wood fired pizza's and garlic bread, yum yum!!!!!! They were cooked fresh by the landlord, in the pub garden. We all then waked to the train station which was about 20 metres away from Derwent6 and we said our goodbyes to Bernie and Sarah, who were collecting their car back at Aldermaston to drive home. We decided not to move as we had very full tummies which made us feel tried, so we just chilled for the rest of the day.
